Improved Partner Statements

Partner statements have now been improved so that it’s now possible to view transactions between specific dates, rather than just by month.  This change has been applied to both statements within the main system and within partner portals.

The keyword search feature has also been added to statements within partner portals.

A keyword search across all transactions is now possible by selecting ‘Specific’ for the period, entering a search term, and selecting a date range that will span all transactions.

Search & Report on Leads by Date Referred

Prior to today, most reporting was based on the date a lead was originally received.  This caused problems when you needed reports based on the date that a lead was actually sent out to a partner (i.e. referred).  It was possible to get this information from the ‘Status Date (Conversion)’ reports, but this wasn’t ideal.

You’ll now see a ‘Date Referred’ tick box next to the date selection in Search Leads and selected reports within the Reports Centre.  This will bring up the selected leads/report based on the referral date.  The dates shown in the Search Leads list will be the referral date.  Any leads not referred won’t be listed/reported when ‘Date Referred’ is selected.

There’s also a new ‘Partner Transactions Report’ which will give you an exportable list of transactions for a specific period across all partners.  This will be useful when you need to see all transactions for reconciliation, or where you want to find a transaction on a particular date/range.

A Faster, More Robust Billing Engine Released

The billing ‘engine’ has been rewritten to make it faster, more robust, more consistent and easier to build in new features in the future.  The most noticeable change is that there are now only 2 values held on each lead relating to billing:

  • Lead Cost: This is either manually entered at the point the lead is created (or later edited) if not using the partner billing system, or calculated from introducer transactions.
  • Lead Value: Again, either manually entered at the point the lead is created (or later edited) if not using the partner billing system, or calculated from buyer transactions.

The following improvements have been made:

  • Cost and value information is included when exporting leads (for internal users).
  • Introducers and buyers now also have the total paid or total cost on lead exports.
  • Reports have been streamlined and the old ‘Introducer’ and ‘Referral Sales’ reports removed.  All ‘Lead’ reports now include the number of leads, average & total cost, and average & total value.
  • The ‘Add Transaction’ function has been improved to make it clearer.
  • A new user permission option has been added (in ‘Settings > Users > Edit’) so that a user needs to be permitted to view/edit lead billing details.
  • After consideration about its effectiveness and use, the automatic ‘revenue share’ billing option has been removed. However, it’s still possible to bill revenue share arrangements in 360 using the improved ‘Add Transaction’ button on the lead’s ‘Transactions’ tab.
  • When viewing the ‘Transactions’ tab on a lead that has been referred to multiple buyers, the transactions tab now only shows transactions relating to the particular buyer, unless ‘Main Lead’ is selected in which case all transactions are shown.
