Improvements to the Import Leads tool have been implemented today.
- A new option ‘Suppress any lead actions’, prevents any lead actions (set within ‘Settings > Lead Groups & Types > Lead Types > Edit’). This is useful when importing historic leads which shouldn’t be treated as new leads.
- You can now include ‘Assigned User’ and ‘Status’ columns in your import file to assign a user and/or a status at time of import. To do so, make sure the user name or status you submit is identical to the user/status name/description. If more than 1 user or status is found with the same name/status, the first record is used. Bear in mind that if you submit a user/status with an import but don’t choose to suppress lead actions, the submitted user/status may be changed by the lead actions.
Not yet a 360 user? You can try FLG 360 for free for 14 days. It’s (almost) fully functional.
