Assign a User & Status at Time of Import

Improvements to the Import Leads tool have been implemented today.

  • A new option ‘Suppress any lead actions’, prevents any lead actions (set within ‘Settings > Lead Groups & Types > Lead Types > Edit’).  This is useful when importing historic leads which shouldn’t be treated as new leads.
  • You can now include ‘Assigned User’ and ‘Status’ columns in your import file to assign a user and/or a status at time of import.  To do so, make sure the user name or status you submit is identical to the user/status name/description.  If more than 1 user or status is found with the same name/status, the first record is used.  Bear in mind that if you submit a user/status with an import but don’t choose to suppress lead actions, the submitted user/status may be changed by the lead actions.

Not yet a 360 user?  You can try FLG 360 for free for 14 days.  It’s (almost) fully functional.

FLG Launch Insight Pay Per Use Data Services

FLG 360 has been updated this evening with new features, primarily the launch of Insight pay per use data services.

Insight Pay-Per-Use Data – Screen Against Telephone Preference Services for 5p Per Record!

How It Works

Click the ‘Insight’ button on the lead summary or quick view to get access to a number of data screening and services charged on a per use basis, or add in a ‘ Request Insight Service’ action to a lead type to automatically get Insight services every time a lead is received.

Available on Business & Platform service plans only.  If you don’t see the option available, go to ‘Settings > Preferences’ and select the ‘Enable Insight services’ option.

If you need help setting up a lead type so that it is screened against TPS/CTPS/MPS as soon as it’s received, please contact us.

Services Available

  • Screen against Telephone Preference Service
  • Screen against Corporate Telephone Preference Service
  • Screen against Mailing Preference Service
  • Lookup a Telephone Number from Name & Address

More Insight services coming soon!

Other New Features:

  • New lead action events – you can now invoke actions when the lead progresses to Validated, Qualified, Converted or Invalidated stage.  Use this to send out automated update emails to customers for example.
  • New ‘Text Message User’ lead action – as well as alerting a user to a new lead by email and task, you can now alert them by text message.
  • ‘Email Introducer when a lead is invalidated’ option now available in ‘Settings > Preferences’.

FLG 360 Now De-Duplicates Your Leads

FLG 360 has provided basic de-duplication to help with double submission of web forms for some time now.  However, if more complex, long term de-duplication was required, there was no support.  With today’s update, flexible de-duplication is here!

Here’s details of new features in today’s release:

  • New de-duplication settings within ‘Settings > Preferences’ and ‘Settings > Lead Groups & Types > Edit Group’ (group settings override account wide settings).  Different lead groups can have their own de-duplication settings or use the account wide settings.
  • Rewritten process daemon that improves the way new leads are handled from Web forms and imports, and also improves (speeds up) the handling of bulk actions.  New leads will now be processed and *only then* show up with the Search Leads page.  This processing should take around 5-10 seconds after the lead is received.  The limit of 500 bulk actions at a time has now been increased to 1000 to match lead import, and assuming everything works well over the next few weeks, the limits on lead import and bulk actions will be increased significantly.
